Mount Pisgah Arts Academy

Performing, Visual and Cinematic Arts

Welcome to MPAA!

The Mount Pisgah Arts Academy is a community Arts studio offering after-school, quality instruction in performing, visual and cinematic arts to children and teens ages 4-18 years of age. We offer educational opportunities in Music, Art, Drama and Dance via private lessons, classes, workshops and seasonal camps.  We highlight student achievement via performances which are held throughout the year on our campus and in our community.  The Mount Pisgah Arts Academy is a division of Mount Pisgah Christian School.

Music

Voice, Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar, Electric Bass,  Percussion, Girls Vocal Ensemble, Musical Theater

The study of music aids in the development of language, reasoning and coordination.  We host music private lessons and ensemble classes throughout the school year. Students enrolled in private lessons are featured at our Christmas and Spring Recitals and can audition for our Fall Showcase. We invite you to try out a lesson in voice, violin, piano or percussion!

Art

Art Class, Art Kids, Mommy & Me, Private Instruction

Art education teaches creative thinking, improves fine motor skills, visual learning and decision making.  From animators to engineers,  strong abilities in visual art fields support a myriad of professions. We offer fun Art classes for preschool age students with Mom or Dad and follow that with Art Kids for young learners and Art Class for Middle School students ready for more dynamic and challenging mediums.

Dance

Majorette Twirl, Musical Theater Dance, Private Instruction

Dance is not only an Fine Art but it is also very healthy for our body.  We encourage students to engage in our dance programs: Majorette Twirl offered at three  levels throughout the school year and in our Musical Theater dance class held in the Fall semester.

Drama

One Act Play, Musical Theater, Private Lessons

Improving communication and speaking skills, education in Dramatic Arts also teaches empathy, collaboration and creative problem solving.  Join our drama department for our Fall One Act Play or our Spring Musical.  We also offer private lessons for students preparing for college auditions and enrollment in Theater Arts.

FILM

Let's Make a Movie, Acting on Film, Private Lessons, Industry Consultation

Is your child interested in being on television or in the movies?  Being a movie star doesn't star with the red carpet, but with preparing monologues, learning to break down scripts and how to tap into your authentic voice.  Through classes, workshops and private lessons, students can learn about 'the industry' and how to get involved in acting on film in Atlanta.
